An introduction to the basic concepts and topics in organizational behavior and management, this course explores the human side of management, placing equal emphasis on how a company manages its organization, its groups, and its individuals. Students will explore strategies for working with people to accomplish tasks, goals and projects, as well as how best to work for other people, work with other people, and supervise other people. Coursework will cover topics such as personal motivation, conflict and communication, managing change, organizational culture and others.
Course Level: Appropriate for sophomores and above with no experience in the same subject area.
