Ellen Wright is an assistant professor of psychology at Brandeis University. She received her BA in Biology and Secondary Education from Adam State College, her BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Iowa. Her research focuses on ways in which emotion regulation affects developmental psychopathology, particularly in the area of depression. Professor Wright teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, including Introduction to Psychology; Research Methods; Abnormal Psychology, Personality, Adolescence and the Transition to Maturity; and an upper-level seminar in Research on Sex Differences.
